Ivan Rakitic discloses one thing that would keep him at Barca

Ivan Rakitic isn’t as happy as he used to be at Barcelona anymore as the Croatian demands for more playing time, if he should stay back.

Appearing yesterday marked his second start of the season since September and Ivan Rakitic already is feeling as if ‘Barcelona has taken the ball’ from him.

According to the Champions league winner, its clear he will only be where he is always getting to knock the ball amid exit saga linking him to multiple European giants including Paris Saint German and Inter Milan.

Rakitic joined Barcelona from Sevilla in 2014 and has won 4 laliga title and 1 champions league since joining Catalona.

Loved for his play-making skills and defensive ability its shocking the Croatian is yet to make 10 league appearances for Barcelona this season.

“I do not understand the situation because I want to play. If I can play, there is no better place than Barca,” Rakitic said, via Marca.

“I want to enjoy every day and if it can be here, much better

“I said that the ball had been taken from me to imply how much I like football,” Rakitic said concerning his statement back in November when he disclosed that Barcelona has taken the ball from him.

“But if I can play, there is no better place than Barca. What I want to do is enjoy, doing my best because I still have a lot to give,” he continued.

“I have the confidence of my team-mates and if the coach puts me in, I understand that it will also be like that.”

Despite being on the bench for so long, Rakitic stole the show as usual as he started out against Atletico Madrid yesterday dominating his position.

A game perceived to have better ended in a tie was at the mercy of Lionel Messi who stole the game from home team at the injury time.

Barcelona would welcome RCD Mallorca to Camp Nou on the 7th of December and hopefully we are gonna see Ivan Rakitic play once more.

  1. Hmm, no wonder he is still there and looks to be there for longer time. Barcelona clearly needs him and Rakitic leaving now will be sad to me. Meanwhile, I could have sworn I’ve been to this blog before but after browsing through some of the post I realized it’s new to me. Nonetheless, I’m definitely delighted I found it and I’ll be bookmarking and checking back often!|
