The former Chelsea man has failed to find his place in Los Blancos squad since his arrival from Stamford Bridge
Eden Hazard’s trip to Real Madrid has so far been hampered by injury despite excelling greatly at Stamford Bridge before making the switch.
The 29-year-old also do put up great shows whenever he is with his national team squad but unfortunately his dream club move has turned out sour since he joined.
Upon taking up Cristiano Ronaldo’s jersey number, Hazard has failed to make impact, similar thing that happened to his predecessor, Luka Jovic.
With only 27 appearances, Hazard has only netted 2 goals for Real Madrid since he joined in 2019 and according to Don Balon, Florentino Perez has run out of patience with the Belgian as he now pushes to land Kylian Mbappe.
Don Balon also stated that Eden Hazard’s fate at Real Madrid now depends on the outcome of Kylian Mbappe’s deal with Zinedine Zidane also disapproving selling Hazard.
Zidane is reportedly asking that more time be given to Hazard as he has already shown in the past of what he can do.
Madrid are understood to be trying to avoid losing the €146.1m spent on the winger as they perceive selling him now would be safer to prevent his price dropping below €100m.
The option is out now and Zidane is left with the deciding to fire his attack with the combo of Benzema and Mbappe or still have Hazard on the sideline while he search for goals.
