Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard has shared in his recent interview ahead of the Blues Norwich match that N’golo Kante might miss out on the clash.

Lampard looks to go on his third league game as he is yet to bag a win, losing his first and drawing the last.

Ahead of the match which would see them travel to the Carrow Stadium, the Blues manager was in a interview with the press today.

The manager started out disclosing that he isn’t underating the harm Norwich city can cause, considering the fact that the former just-promoted team have always sticked to their style.

“They have their style and they stuck to it. I think that’s the right way. They are a very good team with a very good manager.” Lampard said.

“Norwich away is not an ideal fixture, the last team to beat them there was Derby, they have proved the step up is not difficult for them.”

“It is as important as all of them. Everyone was talking up Leicester last week. You can’t disrespect teams by saying it is must win or things like that.”

Norwich struggled for some years in the Championship, before David Farke was appointed manager and he succeeded to get the Canaries back into the Premier League.

Lampard went to share that Chelsea might be going into the early kick-off tomorrow without their power-house, N’golo Kante.

According to the Englishman, Kante has been reported of having an ankle sprain and is doubtful he would be in the line-up tomorrow.

“N’Golo Kante has an injury he has carried all week. We will assess that in 24 hours to see if he is fit. Rudiger is not ready.” He said.

“Callum is training. He is looking bright and sharp. We are in the area of protecting him. The international break comes at a good time for him, Rudiger and Reece James.” Lampard continued as he hinted on Callum Hudson odoi’s return.

We would be hoping to see Michy in action tomorrow, as Lampard shares that the number 9 first choice spot is still open for Batshuayi, Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud.

“Someone has to come to the front, hopefully.” Lampard told reporters.

Tammy of course has gotten the best of chances to prove he is the best man for the job, likewise Giroud as both strikers has been used substitutionally in their last games.

Michy Batshuayi is yet to feature in the Blues 2019/2020 premier league season game after he scored amazing goals in their U23 match with Liverpool.

Lampard is not really scared of the two present rulers of EPL as he believes every team in the Premier League has the same chances to lift the trophy.

“It is obvious to all of us that those two teams were ahead of all of us last year with their points tallies but I don’t think you can write off other teams.”
