Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has admitted to the German struggling to find his feet in the premier league after club-record landing to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The 21-year-old put up a dismal performance last night at Goodison Park prompting Lampard to finally address the midfielder’s underwhelming start to life at Stamford Bridge.
According to Lampard, the former Leverkusen man may take longer time to adapt to premier league football tempo and needs more confidence going forward.
“Some players take longer time to step up with the tempo of English football. I think Kai is one” The Chelsea boss said to the press.

“Hopefully will get better with time. We saw Sevilla game. He’s a great player but will need bit more time. The Blues gaffer concluded.
Havertz impressed quite much last season in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen prompting Chelsea landing with hopes of providing much-needed creativity lacked last season at Stamford Bridge, but has so far failed utterly in goal creation with concerns already mounting on the possibility of the 21-year-old not ever being able to find his feet at West London.
