The Blues are set to commit Anglo-Nigerian duo Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori to the club on a long-term basis.
This follows the duo’s impressive performances this season, after both players spent loan spells at Aston villa and Derby County respectively.
Tammy Abraham’s deal with the Blues is set to expire in 2022 but the London outfit hopes to keep him with the club for a longer time.
The 21-year-old is currently one of the hottest strikers in the English premier league this season scoring two or more goals in his last three consecutive matches, with the most recent coming against Wolverhampton Wanderers which took his tally to seven.
Tomori has also been impressive at the back, scoring a cracker against Wolves last weekend and was a regular at Derby County last season under Frank Lampard.
His current deal runs till 2021 but the youngster will likely spend more time in London with the Blues following the manager’s commitment to building a predominantly young team.
