Leaving Italy to avoid racism? Man United target Koulibaly hint on racism

Napoli defender and Manchester United target, Kalidou Koulibaly has disclosed that the racist chants in Serie can’t make him leave Italy.

Koulibaly who joined Napoli from Genk back in 2014 spoke in a lengthy interview with L’equipe where he debunked the racist acts displayed by the football fans.

“Leaving Italy to avoid racism?” Koulibaly said, “It would mean giving reason to the racists. They are the ones who have to go. We must stay, show that we are always present,” he said.

The former Metz defender went on to lash blames on the authorities who have failed to take serious actions against the issues.

“Leaving Italy to avoid racism? It would mean giving reason to the racists. They are the ones who have to go. We must stay, show that we are always present,” he said.

Koulibaly has made 158 appearances so far for Gli Azzurri but is currently rumored to be linked to a move to Manchester United.
