Manchester United’s defender, Victor Lindelof has assured fans that he won’t be leaving Old Trafford anytime soon.
Lindelof has been believed to be heavily to Spanish giants, FC Barcelona, following his agent’s statements earlier.
Victor’s representative, Hasan Cetinkaya claimed last week that his client might be seeing a possible move to Camp Nou, while he spoke to Mundo Deportivo.
“There is a big club in Europe that wants him, but everything depends on Manchester.” – Hassan said.
With a £30m origin contract that still has its heart pumping till 2021, Man United might as well be taking on their option to extend the contract after Lindelof pledged to remain at Man. United.
“I’m very very happy to be a Manchester United player and I’m really looking forward to this season,” the Sweden international said. “I’m very excited for a new season to start so yeah, that’s my answer, I’m very happy here.”
Lindelof might be on Gunnar’s line up for their friendly match tomorrow against EFL Championship side, Leeds United after he missed their last friendly match because of an injury.
Be it as it currently may for the 24 year old, he’s currently considered as one of the first options out Man. United’s 6-man defense squad and would get back in form before featuring in any official match cause he has nothing to fight for.
Manchester United are also still linked to landing Leicester’s Harry Maguire for a record slashing fee.
