Suarez Admits that Mess’s Retirement Words Were Misunderstood by Him
The former Liverpool striker has admitted that his Barcelona teammate, Messi is not retiring from football anytime soon.
The Uruguayan strongly believe that Messi’s words about his potentially retiring in the near future, which came up during the just concluded Ballon d’Or ceremony, were widely misunderstood.
“I think Messi’s comments were misunderstood,” Suarez told beIN Sports.
“First because you have to understand that Leo had just received a new Ballon d’Or award at that tim, and he was happy and nervous because he is a human being like us”
“Messi will be around for a long time”
The 32-year old Barcelona striker made it more clear enough that Antoine Griezmann has acclimatized to life in Cam Nou.
“He is feeling very comfortable.” He continued.
“In the dressing room he had a very good welcome, showing us that he came to help and try to get the trophies we want.”
Luis Suarez has also claimed that their exist in the Champions League by the Italian side, AS Roma two seasons ago was totally the players’ fault.
“It is not easy to win all three competitions,” Suarez said.
