Chelsea advanced into the Quarter Finals of the Champions League after trashing out Atletico Madrid in a 3-0 aggregate scoreline
Blues marked their first home and away clean sheet victory against Atletico Madrid to push into the UCL Quarter Finals where they will be facing FC Porto.
It was a really disappointing match for Atletico Madrid who were believed to be posing greater threats to Chelsea who during the draw were still managed by Frank Lampard.
With one of the most disfavored player being Luis Suarez who fell into the claws of a brutal Rudiger and saw his performances reduced to nothing.
But to the Uruguayan, Rudiger isn’t the toughest defender he has ever faced instead the striker picked Thiago Silva as the toughest.
Speaking in an interview recently, Suarez said; ” A defender that has given me troubles and that I have faced several times is Thiago Silva.”

Silva’s influence on Chelsea’s defense since his arrival can’t be overlooked as even Christensen has been seen improved so much ever since he was called to replaced the injured Brazilian.
Despite Silva missing both legs of Chelsea’s victory against Atletico Madrid, the West Londoners’ defense still appeared very coordinated.
Chelsea have on the hand reached an agreement to extend Silva’s contract as Suarez went to add; “He [Silva] is an admirable defender which I have always liked.”
