Manchester City have indicated interest to sign former Chelsea defender Nathan Ake as Kalidou Koulibaly’s deal still uncertain.
Former Chelsea defender, Nathan Ake has been tipped off by Manchester City as the former EPL Champions seem uncertain on Kalidou Koulibaly leaving Napoli.
Nathan Ake joined Bournemouth back in 2017 from Chelsea after a successful loan spell in the club for a club record deal of £20m.
Bournemouth are struggling with relegation at the current moment and are likely to lose on of their most-wanted asset to City who look to replace Vincent Kompany.

Ake is although still contracted to Bournemouth till 2022, he has also been linked to a move back to Stamford Bridge where Frank Lampard is giving more opportunities to players of his caliber.
Discussions between Man City and Bournemouth concerning Ake is still at early stage and possible chances of City losing the 25-year-old to potential suitors considering the player might not want to be relegated with his current team.
According to former Man City defender Micah Richards, Manchester City yes do need a lead defender same way Kompany served in the squad but still this doesn’t solve all their current problems as The Citizens look to battle Liverpool for the trophy by next season.
“It’s not as simple as getting a centre-back in… Fernandinho will be a year older and his legs won’t be the same as this season or past seasons.Embed from Getty Images
“Just buying a centre-back is not going to solve all the issues. People say Van Dijk solved Liverpool’s problems, and he did to an extent, but his arrival coincided with the improvement in Trent and Robertson, and also Alisson arrived.
“But getting a centre-half would help so much in terms of consistency, and to have somebody who understands that position more to drive the team forward.”
