Manchester United linked to Chelsea and Arsenal target, Thomas Lemar amid exit plans as he has only played 88 mins since December.

Thomas Lemar hasn’t had the best of seasons at Atletico Madrid and a move to England appears to be his escape route as Manchester United joins the list of bidders.

The 24-year-old who was should have been in England by now after a sky-level performance while still at Monaco, made his way to Spain to join Diego Simeone’s men.

But it’s disappointing even the manager has publicly confirmed Lemar is yet to live to expectations at Wanda Metropolitano, considering the huge £52m paid for his membership.

“The facts speak for themselves, better than words,” he said. “Certainly, he has not been able to show all his qualities,” Simeone said.

“Each time that he has been available, I have tried to play him. I have always been enthusiastic about his qualities as a player.

“He has not met the expectations set for him, but we have always had the same expectations.”

A move to England remains 80% certain for Lemar despite Liverpool pulling out of the chase for Lemar. Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal are other top-flight teams the French star might end up with.

Although, Man United are already in talks with his representatives and likely he would be joining the Red Devils.

Lemar is known for his skillful ability to push attacks from the center of the pitch with several successful passes and dribbles that led to a perfect attack.
