Man United hope to return to the top after a win against Chelsea saw Leicester overtake the Red Devils
Ole Solskjaer’s side return to action tonight as they go head to head with Fulham at the Craven Cottage.
Having come off a tedious clash against Liverpool in the last fixture when United managed to shared points with the defending Champions, Ole hopes for a win tonight against Fulham.
Its believed the Norwegian won’t be resting most of his preferred players, including Bruno Fernandes as he dismissed claims of the Portuguese getting tired following poor performance against Liverpool.
“His form is very good,” Solskjaer said. “He was just voted Player of the Month (for December). He’s not tired, no, no chance.
“He is one of the players that runs and covers the ground in every single game, he’s very good at recovering and recharging his batteries.
“If he scored his free-kick or if it just had a little air on the ball when Luke (Shaw) put the cross in he’d have been lauded as the best player in the Premier League again.
“Since he’s come in, he’s been absolutely immense. He’s not tired and if I ask him he’ll say there’s absolutely no chance that he’s tired.”
Not resting Bruno entails Donny van de Beek could once again see the bench despite growing concerns on his future at the club.
Cavani and Mason Greenwood were rested in the Liverpool game as this could mean start for both stars tonight, with Martial likely to be out of the starting 11.
We could be seeing Matic making the starting line up tonight to link up with Pogba in the center.
Eric Bailey is also expected to replace Victor Lindelof at the back line.
Man United Predicted Line up:
De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Bailly, Shaw; Matic, Pogba; Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford; Cavani
