Man United are likely to move in strongly for former Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos
Sergio Ramos has been confirmed to just have left Real Madrid minutes ago with Man United Keen to strike a deal.
The Spaniard left Santiago Bernabeu as a free agent and will be free to move to Man United should they convince him on a deal soon.
Ramos failed to reach an agreement with Los Blancos who weren’t interested to hand him the desired extension.
The 35-year-old made 469 league appearances since arriving Real Madrid in 2005.
The 2010 World Cup winner has been so successful with the Spanish side that many even thought he would end his career with the team.
Ramos has been one on Man United’s radar for a long time now as they failed to sign him during the last transfer window.
Being a free agent now eases every stress that could be encountered in channeling a deal with his former club.
Harry Maguire is yet to return to fitness and Man United’s defense struggled with his absence, Ramos is a perfect replacement and even if Maguire returns, the combo would be best pick for Ole Solskjaer.
