Manchester United are reportedly preparing to double-up Mason Greenwood’s pay as the Red Devils look to get more out of the youngster.
Mason Greenwood who has scored four goals since the restart, is set to double his wages at Old Trafford in less than 12-months of the last signing.
Alongside, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood has managed to become part of a deadly forward in the English Premier League.
It’s just nine months since the 18-year-old signed his last contract and United are ready to hand him a bumper deal due to his impressive performances.
The English kid has also been labelled as the best finished recently while others have likened him to be the perfect replacement for Robin Van Persie.
Earlier on before the preceding contract signed, Greenwood was on a £800 per week wage, which the contract took to £25,000 a week, nine months ago.
It’s apparent that Greenwood is at the point of his breakthrough as the current contract lined up for the teenager will have him bag £40,000 at the end of every week.
Mason Greenwood has scored 16 goals so far this season for the Red Devils as he aims at totaling records of three Man United Legends.
George Best, Wayne Rooney and Brian Kidd are the only United Legends who hit 17 goals as teenagers at Old Trafford.
United are aware other clubs would soon be on the hunt for the striker, probably main reason they are quickly rewarding his excellence so as to assure him he is greatly valued by the club.
With his kind of attributes, more staggering deals await Greenwood should he continue in such form. On the other hand, fellow impressing teenager, Angel Gomes has reportedly left Man United after refusing to agree on new terms with United.
