Manchester United have reportedly offered to sign Tottenham wantaway Christian Eriksen before the Thursday.
Tottenham have received an option to let go of Christian Eriksen who has refused to renew his contract which would be ending 2020. The Dutch man disclosed that he wants to leave Spurs.
With Real Madrid has his main focus, Los Blancos has shown little interest in him despite earlier been reported to wanting to sign him during the early days of the transfer window.
The Spanish side seems more interested in having either Ajax’s Van de Beek or Manchester United’s Paul Pogba whom they’ve already offered to give James Rodriguez and a certain amount of cash, if only Manchester United let’s him leave.
Letting Eriksen go now would do Spurs more good than losing him for a cut-price when he’s contract expires but would United offer as much as Spurs have placed on the Denmark man.
The Red Devils are working towards bringing in Christian before Thursday considering that they might lose Pogba to Real Madrid who still has two weeks to sign more players.
Manchester United although have rejected a recent offer for Paul that included James Rodriguez and cash, but it’s not yet disclosed if Eriksen’s successful transfer to Old Trafford would necessitate Pogba’s departure.
According to Dailymail, Eriksen’s representatives are already with Man United and discussing on the transfer terms of the 27-year-old who is currently considered a top transfer priority to United after signing world-record defender, Harry Maguire for a whooping £80m.
Tottenham are also on the verge of completing a transfer deal for Real Betis’ Lo Celso after terms were reportedly met by both sides. But it hasn’t written-off the possibility of landing Sporting Lisbon midfielder, Bruno Fernandes.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has a £130m valuation hanging on Eriksen’s shoulder but United seem not ready to splash such amount this transfer window.
