Manchester United must have gotten a bit careless as their executive vice chairman, Ed Woodward’s email leaks.
According to Telegraph, just before the completion of their new signing; Wan-Bissaka, Ed Woodward’s email was leaked and the public got to know about Man. United’s transfer plan.
The content of the Vice Chairman’s mail reveals that Manchester United are still planning bring in more ‘exciting’ players.
Daily Telegraph is believed to be the one that saw the internal email that was sent to a Man. United staff.
In the email, Woodward encouraged that everyone need not to be scared despite the ‘misleading speculations’ that entangles the transfer market.
Below is the content of the letter;
“Despite the inflated nature of the transfer market and constant speculation and stories, which can be misleading, the recruitment team – in conjunction with the manager (Solskjaer)- are working calmly behind the scenes to bring in other exciting players that fit their long-term vision for the club.”
“Following the arrival of Daniel James from Swansea earlier this month, I am delighted to confirm that we have signed exciting young defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace.”
“Aaron fits perfectly with Ole’s philosophy and plans for building his team and is a player who will excite our great fans as the season unfolds.”
It is also believed that Man. United has been linked to a move for Newcastle youngster, Sean Longstaff. Probably part of the exciting players Woodward talked about.
Guess Ed Woodward is all out now to bring the Arsenals that Solskjaer views perfect for the Ole philosophy as Lukaku and Paul Pogba’s futures at Old Trafford are not certain.
Solskjaer at the other end is also left to do the recruitment works as the club is yet to bring in a Technical Director.
