Eric Cantona has Become The Third Legend To Be Elected into the Pl Hall of Fame.
Manchester United legend, Eric Cantona who moved to the red bricks from Leeds in 1992, and won four premier league titles in five years under sir Alex Ferguson is now the third player and the first from United to be elected into the Hall of Fame after Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer were the first two inductees.
The players who was known for his charisma and leadership and also his terrible temperament, was a core of the United side that won the inugural EPL title and was also famous for kicking a fans at the selhust park is now a Hall of famer.
Know as king Eric by United supporters he was the most influential player in the premier league in his time. A deep lying forward with a dugged mentality, he could win the ball and also create an attack, had an eye for goals which saw him scored 82 in his time at the theater of dreams.
Eric Cantona on being elected into the hall of Fame responded in a typical Cantona fashion “I am very happy and very proud, but at the same time I am not surprised, I would’ve been surprised not to be elected!”
