Man United likely to lose Jordan Sancho transfer deal to Chelsea as the English man quietly fall off balance with Favre
Jadon Sancho is heavily linked to leaving The Signal Iduna Park as Chelsea lead the race for the 19-year-old, despite interest from Manchester United.
The Blues are set to break their transfer record in the pursuit of Borussia Dortmund’s Sancho and are relaxed about their possibilities of landing him ahead of The Red Devils either in January or Next summer.
Despite their current transfer ban, with a Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) appeal verdict due any day, The Blues are gearing the transfer plans, and are ready to pay more than the £72 million they stumped up to capture goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Club last year.
Jadon Sancho keeps a close relationship with a good number of Chelsea players who are his national teammates Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson inclusive.
It is gathered the the Borussia star is read to depart Dortmund after enduring a turbulent start to the Bundesliga season as, although Sancho’s output has been over-rated.
The 19-year old was substituted in a league match against Bayern Munich just 36 minutes into the game, with the head coach, Lucien Favre blaming the player as “not good enough”.
Sancho was as well not listed in the starting line-up against Barcelona, after reporting late for a pre-match meeting.
Favre disclosed after the game that he is only interested on “Focused players” for the fixture, which afterwards ended 3-1 in the favor of Barcelona.
All these issues have helped to signal hope that the German side may consider selling their most valued asset sooner, with the club making moves for Sao Paulo’s Anthony or Gremio’s Everton in the works and to be funded by using any proceeds from Sancho deal.
Liverpool once have been linked with a move for the English player, but unfortunately Jurgen Klopp has admitted the price is too high.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have no space for Sancho in the starting XI as long as Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah remain at the club.
Manchester United are willing to splash around £140 million (£119/$155m) to bring Sancho to Old Trafford in January, but the fact that they are struggling in the Premier League and less hopes for the Champions League put them off balance.

Meanwhile, Williams and Pedro’s contract are over by next summer with renewal talks still uncertain, so there are arguably spaces opening up for a new player in such positions.
