Manchester City transfer news: Pep turns to Ake and Isco as Maguire deal fall off

Pep Guardiola sets to reinforce his defense-line as he turns to Bournemouth Nathan Ake after losing out on Harry Maguire race.

Manchester City got scared away by Harry Maguire high valuation, leaving Manchester United as the only team on the race for the defender.

With Man United almost completed deal for Harry Maguire, City have been reported to have turned their interest towards Bournemouth’s Nathan Ake whom Guardiola perceives as a better alternative to Maguire.

The 24 year old who has as well caught Tottenham’s attention, is valued at 40m which is way too preferable to Guardiola.

Matching Ake’s 40m valuation shouldn’t be a problem to Manchester City who are also linked to landing Real Madrid star, Isco Alarcon.

According to sources, the Spanish is no more needed by Zidane who looks to be flushing Santiago Bernabeu at the moment, with fall-offs from Gareth Bale and Vinicius Jr who he addresses as ‘overrated’.

City weigh their possibilities on the deal and Guardiola seems to have rightly stepped in for Isco who would quickly accept a deal off Real Madrid, especially for a team that is as well considered to be in the same class as Real Madrid.

Although, The Citizens have linked to the 27 year old, but have been in no rush in landing the player as they have concluded just three transfer deals, apart from Joao Cancelo swap which is as well reported to be completed.
