Manchester United will sacrifice any potential bid for Tottenham star Harry Kane in favour of a serious move for Borussia Dortmund sensation Jadon Sancho.

Manchester United we’re heavily linked with the player last server, they are now ready to rekindle their interest in the player who left the Etihad stadium in summer of 2017.

The player might be on his way back to Manchester as United are really Keen on seeing the player in United’s colours.

They’ve also stated their intention to forgo any interest in Harry Kane as they view Sancho as a priority target.

The Player who is valued in the region of £100m has reportedly made a gentleman agreement with Borrosia Dortmund to let him leave if certain conditions are satisfied.

A 2020 deal never materialised, but that has not deterred the Red Devils from re-entering negotiations with the Bundesliga outfit over potentially prying away one of their most prized assets.

Work has already begun on how United can strengthen next season in the wake of their recent Europa League final heartache against Villarreal, as Solskjaer aims to make next season the first in which he wins silverware as United manager.

United’s new director of football John Murtough has worked closely with Solskjaer to draw up detailed summer plans, with Sancho at the heart of them.

After enduring an injury-hit start to the season, Sancho finished the campaign strongly with 10 goals in his last 15 games.

As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, United not in their strongest position financially – losing £150m over the course of a season that has seen stadiums closed to fans, and as of yet no clear update on what next season’s gate revenues will look like.

This means the purse strings are likely to only extend as far as one marquee signing and Sancho is likely to be available at his cheapest price yet this summer.

This is due to Borussia Dortmund having agreed with Sancho’s that he can leave for a fair figure, understood to be in the region of £75million – considerably down on the £108million German side were demanding last year.

Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc recently revealed that Sancho has a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ which could open up the idea of a move at the end of the season.

“We already had a gentlemen’s agreement with Jadon last year that he can switch under certain conditions,’ Zorc told German publication ARD .

“He’s been with us for a couple of years. However, this agreement does not exist with Erling [Haaland].”

Solskjaer is of the belief that Sancho would be the crucial final piece in an attack that he hopes can challenge for the Premier League title next term, with the Red Devils without a league title since Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season at the helm eight years ago.

Despite Man United’s top goal-scorer this season coming from midfield in the form of Bruno Fernandes, a new striker is no longer deemed a priority after confirmation of Edinson Cavani’s contract extension.

United were one of the number of clubs touted with a move for Tottenham’s wantaway star Harry Kane, but given the kind of money Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will want in return for his services – a deal looks unlikely.

Recent comments from Kane suggest the England captain is keen on leaving Spurs in the summer, even insisting his own value could drop drastically after this summer.

In an interview with Gary Neville’s Overlap podcast, Kane said: “As players, you don’t know what the chairman’s thinking.

“I mean he might want to sell me. He might be thinking: ‘If I can get £100m for you, then why not?’ You know what I mean. I’m not going to be worth that for the next two or three years.”

Harry Kane reportedly prefers a move to Manchester City as he searches for silverware that has eluded him so far in his career.
