Mason Greenwood is yet to start an official game for Manchester United but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seems so confident the youngster will deliver tomorrow as they go head-to-head with Astana.
Having made his way from the Academy, Greenwood seems buckled up already and waiting for the opportunity to do what he has waited so long to do and Solskjaer appears to be one of the believers of Mason.
Greenwood would be getting a chance tomorrow as Man United welcome Kazakh football side, Astana for their the Group L Europa League Opener.
According to words from Solskjaer, Mason might be pretty young but the 17-year-old kid has proven to be ‘one of the best finishers’ he has set his eyes upon.
Greenwood began footballing career as a midfielder but developed into a Center Forward. Also known to be very good on both feets, Former Manchester United player, Clayton Blackmore had praised him of being the only player he has ever seen taking free-kicks and Penalties with his wrong foot.
With total of 8 appearances for Man United, Solskjaer felt so comfortable dishing out words of advice to Greenwood in an interview today.
“He’s still very young but he’s maturing and he’s developed so much since I came in.
Solskjaer told reporters.

“His appetite for football is growing. I don’t want to put too much pressure on him apart from go out there, enjoy yourself and work hard.
“When you’ve got strikers who can score goals, you should never lose the hunger of scoring goals. Never lose the appetite of creating chances and be ready to take yours.
“Mason is one of the best finishers I’ve seen and I’ve played with quite a few decent ones.”
The Red Devils will be hoping to start their campaign of getting back into the Champions League as they look to come out victorious in the Europa League group stage.
