Mason Mount has Frank Lampard to thank as he’s called up among the 25-man squad to represent England in the Euro2020 competition.

Chelsea youngster, Mason Mount will be getting a chance to represent his countryside, England after seeing the last Euro National competition on bench.

Mason Mount was called up the last time but didn’t get the opportunity to feature for England throughout the competition.

His hard works and constant urge to find the back of the net just earned him as sure place the English squad as he sets to star with fellow club mate, Ross Barkley who was also called to the team.

England national team manager, Southgate greatly applauded Mason’s recent performances since returning from Derby County.

“Mason Mount has been one of the outstanding players in the league already this season,” Southgate said.

“We brought both those guys in October for the experience. Now Mason is in on merit, simple as that. He threatens the goal every time he plays.”

The young man has succeded to net 2 goals and as well providing an assist since he returned to Chelsea.

Chelsea’s number 9, Tammy Abraham failed to make it into the National team as N’golo Kante also missed France duty due to injury threats.
