Tuchel has of course changed Chelsea’s output since his arrival with Mount continuing to be the best performer in the squad
Prior to Thomas Tuchel‘s arrival, Mount was the best pick for Frank Lampard who fell out of favor with Chelsea board after series of loses.
With Tuchel already in the fore front of the club’s vision, Mason Mount has lauded the German for his super man management skill and stated how this has affected him as a player.
It was indeed shocking for many to have seen Tuchel drop Mount on his first game in charge of Blues but Mount has disclosed this very act ignited a fire in him.
“I understood that and wanted to get back into the team, so that motivation and that fire that I have inside me came out,” Mount said ahead of his national duty today.
“I really tried to push to get back into the team. It’s been brilliant.
“We are working very hard. We’ve had tough games in this last period but we have come through it.

“It’s exciting stuff, we continue to work hard. It’s been a great start.”
“I’ve had that experience before,” he told reporters of being dropped. “I was on loan at Vitesse Arnhem when I was 18, 19. That first couple of months I didn’t play hardly at all.
“I had that motivation and that fire to want to get into the team. The first game with the manager coming in, he went for a more experienced team.
