Chelsea youngster Mason Mount has disclosed what Blues boss Frank Lampard cautioned the squad about as they get set for their crucial London derby clash against Spurs on Sunday.
The Blues are currently on a roller-coaster ride of six consecutive victories in all competitions since a goalless draw at Old Trafford last month and may go top of the premier league table with a win against Tottenham on Sunday, having already qualified for round 16 of the UEFA Champions League with a 1-2 away win against Stade Rennes.

Speaking to Chelsea TV, Mount lifted the lid on Lampard’s conversation with the squad with the 42-year-old manager stressing on the importance of Sunday’s tie at Stamford Bridge.
On the question of if everyone was aware of how crucial the clash against Tottenham is, Mount replied:
“Yeah, everyone knows.
“The gaffer has made it very known how big of a game it is. All of us boys know how big of a game it is and we’re going into the game with the confidence that we want to win.
“And that’s what we’ve been doing recently and we’re not going to change. Obviously, we know how big of a game it is and how tough it’s going to be
“But we’re ready, we’re confident and we’re ready to fight.”
Chelsea will hope to consolidate their fine form with a win against the high-flying table toppers after a late win against Ligue One side Rennes on Tuesday.
