Arsenal host Brighton on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium in their last game of the season, a game that could decide whether the gunners would be in Europe next season.
Arsenal are confident going into the game after securing a crucial win against Crystal Palace during the week.
Goals from Pepe and Martinelli ensured the gunners left the Selhurst Park with all three points.
Brighton’s headcoach, Graham Potter has revealed in what could be a massive boost to Arsenal that former gunner Danny Welbeck,
Davy Propper, and Joel Veltman will not feature in the game on Sunday due to hamstring, ankle, and calf injuries respectively.
The Albion’s top scorer, Neal Maupay has also been ruled out due to suspension.
“All won’t be ready for the game. Danny has a hamstring injury. Obviously the game is too soon for him,” said Potter.
“He will take the break for the summer and then try and be back for pre-season.
The game comes too soon for Davy [Propper] and Joel [Veltman]. Nothing else really.
Obviously we have Lewis Dunk back into the squad.” He added.
Ahead of the 4pm clash at the Emirates, Mikel Arteta has also delivered his team’s injury news today.
At today’s pre-match press conference;
Arteta said: “Hector [Bellerin] is not fit [for Sunday] so he will not be playing the last time.” David Luiz is also out.
Having won the first leg at Brighton, Arsenal will be hoping they can complete the double over Graham Potter’s men to keep their hopes of European Football alive.
