Mateo Kovacic took the time to talk about his past manager and the current after looking to have found back form under Thomas Tuchel
Chelsea were triumphant against as they cruised into the 6th place after the Tottenham clash with Mateo Kovacic being one of the good players in the game.
Since Tuchel’s take over, Chelsea have become a side to watch as they now play to dominate most of the game while forcing to penetrate the enemies’ defense line.
Speaking after the game, Mateo Kovacic revealed the difference the team has seen under the present manager compared to the former.

“I think we’ve improved a lot in the last three games, we’ve got seven points, Kovacic said.
“But we need to go game by game and try to be as up as possible and I think we can do it.
“I think we have little problems – we didn’t score against Burnley as well. In the last 15 minutes we were 1-0 up and it could be even more.
“This is a thing we need to improve, to finish games. I think this is one thing we will work a lot on.

“He [Tuchel] explained to us what he wants. It’s exactly that – to play fast forward, to create chances, to be in the opposition’s half.
“I think we’ve improved a lot in the last three games but I think we can be even better & be even more confident.
“In the games coming, we will be even better and we need to even better because we can do it.”

Blues’ victory over Spurs marked their 2nd in last 3 as Kovacic shared of his hunger to keep the form going.
“It’s a good run. I think it should be nine because we had a great game against Wolves, unfortunately we didn’t win. But today we had another good game.
“Unfortunately we didn’t score the second to be more relaxed in the last 15/20 minutes. But it was a good game from us and we need to keep going.”
