Mikel Arteta could be shown the exit door soon should woeful results continue and former Blues manager has already been marked as possible replacement according to sources

Arsenal are likely to end relationship with Mikel Arteta after the former player failed to maintain win spirit.

Earlier on this season, the North London side were in pleasant form following the arrival of several top transfer target including Thomas Partey whose current injury is felt by the club as a whole.

While Mikel Arteta has failed to balance his team, it’s likely Arsenal would grow impatient with the manager and opt for a replacement.

According to Stadiosport, Arsenal already have a list of managers who could be called upon to take charge at the club.

But this would have to do with a manger whose mentality and philosophy is similar to that of Arsenal’s.

Former Blues manager, Maurizio Sarri is in a better position to fill this void should Arteta leave.

Known for his ‘Sarri ball’ pattern, the Italian could fit into the club easily considering how he prefers his boys play.

Just like during his days at Stamford Bridge, the Blues pattern changed alot to maintaining the ball for most of the minutes and trying to penetrate defenses with passes.

A similar pattern to that of Arsene Wenger who could keep the ball for most minutes while searching for a loop hole to push in and produce an impressive and eye-pleasing goal.

Secondly, having failed to handle the pressure at Juve and Chelsea, Arsenal could be a better option for Sarri who had the best of his managerial career at Napoli.

Napoli being a strong team but doesn’t have all the pressures to win and produce results always mounted on them gave Sarri the time required to implement his philosophy into the team.

Gunners are similar to Napoli, unlike Chelsea or Juventus who are considered pillars in their leagues.

But this doesn’t mean Arsenal aren’t considered threat in the EPL neither does it mean Sarri isn’t a top notch manager.

With Sarri’s experience and pattern, he could easily implement and restore an Arsenal that is in some way underated at the moment.

Arsenal would be facing Rapid Vienna tonight as another loss would increase the intensity to try out a new manager.
