Mikel Arteta is looking to complete a major overhaul of Arsenal’s squad this summer as he plans to turn the Gunners back into a competitive force.
The Spaniard saw his side languishing in midtable throughout the 20/21 Premier League campaign and he’s desperate to refine his squad and have already identified his No.1 target.
The Gunners have already been linked with a number of different players but Arteta has identified Martin Ødegaard, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Arsenal, as his main target.
The 22-year-old arrived from Madrid during the January window to the Emirates stadium and have quickly settled down with life at the Premier League.
