The Ecuadorian is said to be set for a Premier League move following official offer received by his current side.

Independiente del Valle revealed to have received an official offer from an European side following the 19-year-old’s links to an exit move.

Caicedo has of lately has his name on several top flight club’s books with Manchester United and Chelsea considered the most prominent to make a move.

With the youngster being the first ever player born in the 21st century to net a goal in the CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifier, his qualities are not hidden.

Chelsea are known to be the ones showing strong interest on the teenager, same as Man United.

Meanwhile, according to recent reports, Moises Caicedo could be heading to England soon but not to Stamford Bridge nor to Old Trafford as another English side lands a major blow on the Midfielder’s chase.

Brighton Albion are the club pushing to reach an agreement to land Caicedo after submitting a £4.5m offer.

Speaking on the offer, Independiente del Valle’s manager, Santiago Morales said; “We have received an offer from a European club for Moises Caicedo.”

“We are negotiating the proposal. It is most likely that he will not be in our team in 2021. Due to the proposal we’ve received, it is very difficult to keep him.”

With 25 appearances for the Ecuadorian team, Caicedo has found the back of their opponents net 4 times while netting 1 goal for his National team as he has made 4 appearances.
