Manchester United joins Arsenal and Juventus in pursuit for Zaniolo’s signature.
According to Metro, Man. United seems not to be done with their transfer plans after splashing toons of cash on some youngsters as they hope to also land Roma’s midfielder.
With 3 years still left on his contract, Zaniolo seems not to be for sale but Manchester United do not think so as they think of lurring him to Old Trafford with huge cash.
Tottenham is believed to be the team first to have asked after the 20 years old midfielder after which they were joined by Juventus who also wants to have the Italian.
But earlier today, Roma’s sporting director Gianluca Petrachi had stated that the player is not for sale and he has no intention of putting him on sale anytime soon.
The director shared this moments after he met with Zaniolo to discus future terms and as well when they would sit for a contract extension.
‘I take this opportunity to say that when I appreciated Zaniolo with all the affection of this world to return to the tracks if he had left, it was immediately said that Petrachi put Zaniolo up for sale,’ said Petrachi .
‘I have to work to try to get the best out of Zaniolo. I am also a very practical person, I have direct contact with my players.
‘I never put Zaniolo up for sale, nor did I say it was on the market.
‘The market is full of pitfalls, but today Zaniolo is not on the market.’ He ended.
Quite hot against Il Tempo’s reports of Man United’s interest in the player after Newcastle’s whooping €50m price tag on Longstaff who just made 9 Premier league appearances left the Red Devils annoyed.
Tottenham has also been reported to be considering Toby Alderweireld as a bait to get the midfielder who scored 6 goals in last season 36 appearances.
