Following the exit plans of Chelsea’s striker, Alvaro Morata, Barcelona full back, Jordi Alba has disclosed that Barcelona are ever willing to accept him.

Morata’s woeful days at Stamford Bridge is close to its end as the Spaniard has caught the interest of two giants (AC Milan and Barcelona).

Earlier on, a report surfaced linking Alvaro to AC Milan. But days later, The Spanish giant, Barcelona indicated their interest in bringing the Spaniard to Camp Nou.

This is really an escape route for Morata in order to avoid the woes on him.

Morata has only netted 16 goals in his 45 appearances for the Blues ever since he joined the club in 2017.

The 26 year old’s move to Barcelona might materialize considering the level of seriousness attached to the deal and also the statement issued out by his country-man and national team-mate, Jordi Alba.

Barça’s back-man, Jordi Alba issued out a partial post-welcoming statement to Alvaro Morata.

He continued, “At the end, it’s the club’s [decision] if they want to sign him or not, as with any other player.

“If the rumours are true, he would be very welcome, as all the new players [are].”

Morata recently picked up a knee injury last night against their Europa League opponent, Vidi. He was replaced by Olivier Giroud due to his inability to continue the match.

All signs indicate that Morata will definitely leave Stamford Bridge. It is now up to Chelsea to source for another striker because it won’t be easy for Giroud to handle the frontline alone.
