Peter Utaka, brother of Nigerian legend John Utaka publicised reasons why he chose to play for The super eagles of Nigeria over Belgium.
Peter Utaka who scored 26 goals in 46 appearances for the giant Belgian club side told Team Nigeria UK in an open air discussion.
The former Velje Boldklub and OB foward is according to the constitution of the European country fit to be a citizen. Peter who took the decision of running a dual citizenship for professional reasons said he will never forget his ‘Homeland’.
“At that time I had to choose between Belgium and Nigeria, I have got a Belgian passport, I was raised in Belgium, I was young when I moved there, I went to school there,” Peter Utaka told Team Nigeria UK

“It was an suprising encounter for me, I was fascinated with every part of it,” he said in a closing remark.
