Mateo Kovacic has now joined Chelsea on a £40.5m permanent deal after a successful year on loan from Real Madrid.
Kovacic quickly broke into the first eleven as he arrived from Real Madrid last year and the Chelsea are delighted to make him fully theirs.
The Croatian will be staying with the blues for the next 5 years as he plans to put out more of that which made the Blues retain him.
The 25 year old made 51 appearances as he played a major role under the Sarri administration.
Also he played a crucial role in the clubs European cup victory as he played 10 out of the 15 matches, including the final in Baku against Arsenal.
The former Real Madrid man shared his happiness as he’s no a full member of a club that sees he as having required knowledge to help their objectives.
‘I really enjoyed my season on loan with Chelsea, I feel comfortable at the club and like London and the Premier League very much. I am very happy to be able to join permanently.
‘We had a successful year, winning the Europa League and I hope I can make a big contribution in the coming seasons.’
