Official: Lampard takes charge of Stamford Bridge for £4m per year

Frank Lampard has finally be given the chance to bring back honor and dignity to Stamford as he signs management deal.

With Maurizio Sarri long gone to Allianz Arena, Chelsea former captain and legend has now taken charge of the club.

Lampard secured a contract that would earn him £4m per year while in charge of the Blues.

The club confirmed this on their official website as they welcomed back the 41 year old.

Having started his management career with Championship side, Derby county and proven that he can solve the managerial problems at Stamford Bridge despite lossing out on the play-off match against Aston Villa, Lampard has taken charge of his home.

Just as he’s succeding Maurizio Sarri, so is Phillip Cocu succeding him at Derby County according to sources.

Lampard’s return might mean Tammy Abraham’s return, having been in the same league with him and seen the threat the striker posses.

Be it as it may, Frank better start working to get the work done quickly cause I believe he already knows his boss, Abrahimovic, very impatient and won’t think twice to show him the exit door if he fails to do what is hoped for.
