Silva has managed to become one of Chelsea major defenders following his arrival from PSG
Thiago Silva has been disclosed as willing to remain a Chelsea player but only if Blues present him a new contract extension tomorrow.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Brazilian is keen to remain at the club considering his success in the short time he has been with the squad.
With several other players already testifying to how much improvement his presence and involvement in the squad has brought to the team.
Chelsea suffered a major defensive leak that lead to conceding multiple number of goals over a short period.
This led to Frank Lampard pushing for the Brazilian, alongside former Leicester man, Ben Chilwell, before finalized on landing Edouard Mendy after Kepa Arrizabalaga failed to get back to form.
Considering how things are going with the squad, it’s clear the Lampard and the Chelsea board are as well keen to extend their relationship with the 36-year-old.
Silva joined Blues for a one year deal which has an option to extend before the contract runs out by August.
