English broadcaster has called for strict laws to be imposed after Callum Hudson Odoi was arrested for breaking lock-down rules.
Chelsea winger Callum Hudson Odoi was recently arrested for breaking the isolation law given by the UK government after he had an encounter with a lady.
Amid this report, English reporter, Piers Morgan took to his twitter handle suggesting a more strict punishment should be backing the lock-down law.
According to Morgan’s statement where he referred to Hudson Odoi as an “Idiot” stated that breaking the laws was tarnishing the images of other footballers and Premier League as a whole.
Piers went on to demanding for a permanent ban on anyone who is found guilty of flaunting this orders.
Being the latest footballer to come under fire for breaking this order, Callum was reported to have had appointment with the Lady who is now in hospital.
The Sun reported that the English man had met the Lady on the internet before they decided to meet but things are now messy as the Lady has claimed she was raped.
“These idiots unfairly tarnish the reputations of all footballers, and make a mockery of the ‘safety first’ plan to bring back the Premier League. They should be told if they get caught breaking lock-down rules like this, they’re banned from playing if football restarts,” said Piers.
With the recent happenings, we are assume the Premier League isn’t resuming anytime soon despite other top tier leagues almost all resumed following Bundesliga resume and Italian Prime minister giving date for Serie A teams training resumption.
From a medical stand, former Chelsea Doctor, Eva Carneiro has also disclosed that resuming the Premier League anytime soon, would only cause harm to lives as she states that it isn’t safe out there yet.
