Transfer news: PSG manager, Thomas Tuchel is preparing a shocking reunion for his former favourite winger, Ousmane Dembele.
Dembele might be ending up back under the wings of former manager Thomas Tuchel, as Neymar PSG exit saga widens the door for Dembele’s French flight.
Although, Paris Saint-German had earlier been reported to have rejected an offer for Neymar that had Dembele included among others. Tuchel has been rumoured to have phoned his former wunderkind, Ousmane Dembele in an attempt to ignite a reunion urge in the Frenchman.
Dembele hasn’t been at his best of forms ever since he joined Barcelona for €125m deal after hitting his highs at Signal Iduna Park.
According to AS, Dembele pushed for a move to Barcelona because Thomas Tuchel was sacked. Tuchel who was then applauded greatly is the only one that knows Ousmane better than any other manager in Europe.
“I’m very disappointed because he was a coach who really built my confidence. Thomas was always there for me and he taught me a lot. He is a very good coach with whom we have had many great moments” Dembélé said at the time before leaving BVB.
Thomas Tuchel believes Dembele is the right replacement for Neymar who is believed to be leaving before the transfer window closes on Septemeber 1st.
Back at Camp Nou, Dembele is yet to prove his worth as he has been dangling with injuries while he features under the shadows of Lionel Messi and Uruguayan striker, Luis Suarez.
There are chances the Frenchman will concur to PSG deal and reunite with the only manager who had him provide 21 assists before joining FC Barcelona.
Especially now, his fellow countryman, Antoine Griezmann posses a great competitional threat in his Barca squad place.
