Gregg Berhalter is set to host Canada in Orlando on Friday, following their 2-0 defeat to their northern rivals in October to make the upcoming clash a must-win.

U.S. Head coach have summoned 20 players for a pre-camp which took off on 2nd November before adding the team’s European based players as their club fixtures is yet to be concluded.

However Berhalter is likely to miss a least three key players “Pulisic, Bradley and Zack Steffen”, as Zack Steffen was pulled out because of knee injury.

The Chelsea Chelsea wonderkid was left out of the 23-man squad after sustaining a hip injury following Chelsea’s 2-0 victory against Crystal Palace at Stamfod Bridge on Saturday, while Bradley’s absense is caused after he picked up a knock in Toronto FC’s MLS Cup defeat.

Christian is officially at the stage ruled out. We just got that information. This was a collaborative decision with the club, looking after the best interest of the player”, Berhalter said.

Following the left out of Bradley, two players on the winning side of MLS Cup will be added to the squad as Cristian Roland and Jordan Morris enter the fray after guiding the Seattle Sounders to the club’s second title in four seasons now.

Berhalter’s Men also Features the likes of the Ajax FC man Sergino Dest, who recently committed his international career to the USMNT after being courted by the Netherlands. If Dest is to play against Canada or Cuba, he would be officially cap-tied to the U.S.

18 players in total returned from the October squad, with Fortuna Düsseldorf man Alfredo Morales and VFL Wolfsburg starlet John Brooks among those that just reunites with the team’s squad after missing out since their September friendlies.

The 23-man squad need to win the both remaining matches and secure a superior goal difference to Canada, who have secured nine points already plus nine goals tally from their three last matches so far.

Canadians defeated the U.S. squad 2-0 in their last meeting in the competition, but the Berhalter’s men enjoyed a 7-0 victory against the Cubans in their opening match which offers them little bit hope ahead of the group final against the Cubans squad on November 19 in the Cayman Islands.

“Entering to the knock-out stage is our major priority, and that will be achieved by getting a victory against Canada”, Berhalter said. “We will be ready to play, the team is looking ahead to competing in front of our fans. Orlando has been a great venue for the National Team, and the support of our fans makes a big difference”.
