Barcelona midfielder, Frankie De Jong has disclosed there is no much difference between former manager, Ernesto Valverde and newly appointed Quique Setien.
Frankie De Jong discloses the present manager at Camp Nou share almost same philosophy as that of former manager.
According to popular Spanish media outlet, Marca; the Dutchman has shared that just as Ernesto Valverde, Quique Setien also doesn’t tell him what to do in particular, but just as Valverde also wants; which is being in possession of the ball.
“The idea he[Setien] has is the same as Valverde’s because it is Barcelona ‘s idea … that of the possession football,” Frankie said.
“[Setien] doesn’t ask me to do anything in particular,” De Jong continued.
“The only thing has changed are the small details, but his intention is to have the ball.”

The 22-year-old who arrived Camp Nou last Summer from Ajax and has managed to adapt to the Barcelona pattern still believes there are more works for him and his teammates so as to improve.
“It looks like I have adapted easily and I am happy, but I know I can do much better,” De Jong stated.
“I also believe that we can evolve a lot as a team and we will get better throughout the season,” he added.
One of the main reasons why versatile playmaker is in the Blaugrana shirt is his tremendous performance with his former side, during the last Champions League campaign despite slipping off at the Semis when they came across Tottenham Hotspur.
It is still clear that De Jong still has his eyes on the UCL trophy as he told reporters that among the many trophies he wishes for his new side to lift, the most wanted for him is the UEFA Champions League.
“I want to win all the titles, but if I have to choose one, I would choose the Champions League,” De Jong said during a promotional event in Barcelona .
“However, I [also] want to lift LaLiga Santander and the Copa del Rey.”
