Man United could be wrapping up their fourth summer as Real Madrid demand for talented midfielder in exchange for Raphael Varane
Having just completed the signings for Jadon Sancho who joined from Dortmund after an €85m move was agreed, Man United are eyeing up another transfer.
The former Ajax man has seen his game time at Old Trafford left at just below 35 appearances since picking Ole Solskjaer’s side over an interested then Zidane’s side.
With Carlos Ancelotti now in management, Madrid remain keen on their desire to land Beek as his lack of game time only hands them an edge in convincing the Dutch man.

Raphael Varane on the other hand is known not to be wanting another extension with Los Blancos as his current deal will be running out in 2022 when he could take same steps as Sergio Ramos who recently left as a free agent.
Madrid values Varane at around €50m but it’s clear United aren’t ready to pay that huge for a play of his age and would rather bargain for a lesser price.
Using Van de Beek as a makeweight won’t be a bad idea for United but seeing the player as one for the future only makes the decision hard for the Red Devils to take.
But so far, United are yet to respond to the offer and is only currently interested to have Varane in exchange for cash alone.
United are surely having a busy summer as they have already completed marking for former Aston Villa goalkeeper Heaton and Juan Mata who is contract did run out in midnight of Wednesday.
