Mundo Deportivo discloses that Barcelona’s appeal is based on the fact that no evidence of any such exists of them holding talks with Antoine Griezmann before the termination of his former contract.
Being a club worth millions of euros, Barcelona can just pay the fine and get past the headache but the La Liga champions decide to appeal.
It’s clear that the Blaugrana are appealing not cause of the fine involved but for the sake of their name and dignity in such a tricky case.
Be it as it may, the outcome of the Appeal would decide if Barcelona gets to pay the €300 fine or get acquitted.
