The Belgian is linked to a move back to Chelsea after proving to be top talent in the Serie A
With the departure of Antonio Conte who helped Inter Milan to major success, Lukaku was expected to also push for a departure.
Especially as it involved his former side and heading back to the toughest league in the history of football.
But in response, it appears Chelsea won’t be getting their hands on the 28-year-old anytime soon.
Lukaku appears to be already growing relationship with new Inter manager, Simeone Inzaghi as he confirmed to have contacted him.
Speaking on his departure links, Lukaku said; “Yes, I am staying. I’ve already had contact with the man who normally becomes our new manager.
“Maybe I shouldn’t say that yet… but it was a very positive conversation,” he added.
Chelsea will have their attention turned to Erling Haaland or even Harry Kane but it’s less likely they will get either of these players.
And Chelsea on their end view it far more than required to land these strikers for such amounts after their huge money spree in past two transfer windows.
Chelsea will continue considering other choices.
