Liverpool has been handed a major boost as Sadio Mane and Origi resumes training ahead Sheffield United match.
Liverpool has confirmed Sadio Mane and Divock Origi have now resumed trainings with their teammates ahead of their Sheffield United game.
Divock Origi was first to be sidelined when he picked up an ankle injury against Newcastle United on September 14th before being joined by Sadio Mane who suffered a minor knock against Chelsea.
The club shared on their official site that both players were back on trainings and would likely make the line-up against Sheffield United.
“Both trained yesterday,” Klopp told reporters at his press conference on Friday morning. “Sadio and Div, completely normal. No issues,” he continued.
Shaqiri won’t be available but the manager hinted that James Milner has gotten past his injury which he picked up against MK Dons during the mid-week games.
“Shaqiri is not ready yet, he is doing rehab,” the manager continued. “Millie got a knock in his back against MK Dons early in the game. It looked a bit awkward after the game but it should be good. Curtis Jones [is] another knock but that’s it.”
