Liverpool is back to the top of the premier league table after beating Burnley 0-3 at Turf more but there might be a problem with the Reds as Sadio Mane is caught in an outburst with Mohammed Salah.
Liverpool started out well in their game yesterday against Burnley with an early own goal from Chris Wood and then Sadio Mane added one more before Mohammed Salah’s 80th-minute pass which found the feet of Roberto Firmino.
The day went on well for the Reds but not actually as it should go as cameras caught Sadio Mane reacting angrily while he was subbed.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp clarified Sadio Mane strange reaction wasn’t because he was pulled out of the game, rather cause of a pass Salah failed to give to him.
Salah was seen trying to trick the defenders while in possession, instead of extending the ball to Sadio Mane who was in a better position to score.
Salah failed to net the ball which left Sadio Mane in furious as he is reportedly in his best forms and wanted to score more goals for Liverpool.
‘Sadio is an emotional guy,’ Klopp said to Sky Sports. ‘He wasn’t happy with something, clearly, but it wasn’t the substitution he was angry with!
‘It’s not a big issue, it’s something we’ll talk about in the dressing room and move on.’
“Was it about a pass? Yes …. But,” said Jurgen Klopp after the match.
“Everything is fine. There was a situation in the game he was not happy about.”
“We are off for a couple of weeks now – and that is perhaps a good moment to do it!” The manager ended.
Sadio Mane has hit a tremendous level at Liverpool after he netted over 100goals for the club.
According to former Liverpool man, Jamie Carragher, Mohammed Salah has always been selfish whenever he hasn’t scored and the match is in its final 30 minutes.
“Salah should have passed,” Jamie said to Sky Sports. “If he hasn’t scored for 60 minutes, then he looks as though he is absolutely desperate to score in the final 30 minutes and he starts shooting more, which Mane clearly wasn’t happy with.
“Obviously Mane is in incredible form and wants to score goals and he took his goal brilliantly tonight – he’s been involved with over 100 goals for Liverpool now which is an incredible statistic.”
Liverpool heads into the break in front of the league table as their win leaves them 2-points ahead of defending champions, Manchester City.
