David Silva is ready to leave Manchester City after 2019/20 seasons.
David Josué Jiménez Silva joined Manchester City from Spanish side – Valencia in 2010. Since joining City, has made over 390 apperances in over eighth season at the club.
He’s won two FA Cups, four League Cups and four Premier League titles. He is regarded as one of Manchester City’s greatest ever players.
The spanish international is mainly a left footed central/attacking midfielder. His passing abilities and possession-retaining qualities gained him the nickname “Merlin” and “El Mago” from his teammates and fans. He is considered by many to be one of the best midfielders in Europe.
He featured in thirty three Premier League games last season and scored six goals as Pep Guardiola’s side holds the title back to back.
The 33 years old talent confirms he will leave the club at the end of the 2019-20 season., And don’t see himself playing against the citizens.
According to reports when asked if he would stay beyond next season, David stated: “No, this is the last one.”
He then went on to say “Ten years for me is enough. It’s the perfect time for me..”
“Initially, City were talking about two years, but I decided to sign another one, so I finished at 10 years.
“It completes the cycle. It’s a nice round figure. I can never see myself playing against City for another team. So ten years – that’s it.”
