Chelsea new signing, Hakim Ziyech insists he is fit and ready for English Premier League.
Critics have in the recent past doubted if Ziyech can actually cope in England despite triumphing in his former league but the Morrocan has assured of his fitness and adaptability.
Ziyech upon assuring of his strength to cope has as well of lately started training at the Cobham training center as he prepared for the coming season to get into action for the Blues.
Joining Chelsea for £38m from Ajax, the 27-year-old was a thorn on Chelsea’s flesh during the English side’s UCL game against Ajax as his magnificent performances added to the Blues urge of wanting to secure a move for the CAF Africa’s finest XI.
Ziyech was pictured in the stands at Stamford Bridge during his new side’s victory against Norwich City and afterwards in the dressing room with new teammate, Christian Pulisic.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Ziyech disclosed his confidence of putting out similar and even better performances than he did in his preceding team despite the rumors of people not believing he can adapt to English football.
“They always told me the Premier League is a tough competition. I know it is. They always said physically I am not ready and stuff like that,” Ziyech said.
“But players have the same body like me, and football is just playing with your head, being smart and creating spaces. It is always in the small things.Embed from Getty Images
“It means a lot to be here. When I was a young guy you always want to play for a big club. When I was young, the players that played here, it was always a big club so I am very happy.
