The former Leipzig man celebrates his birthday today as he hints of difficulty in communicating with teammate
The youngster broke into Chelsea’s first team under the former manager but is yet to regain the opportunities under the new manager.
Although Tuchel believes Gilmour is a brilliant talent he has been blessed with among his list of stars but Jorginho and Kante being in to top form has limited the number of games Gilmour gets.
Speaking on his birthday, Timo Werner revealed he has found it difficult communicating with the Scottish most times during their training sessions.
He went on to elaborate that he at times turns to other teammates so they could help interpret what Gilmour tried to tell him.
Also Timo had disclosed that he intentionally does this at times even when he does clearly understand but wants to make jest of the 19-year-old.
“I don’t understand him,” Werner told reporters.
“He talks to me and then I turn to Mase [Mount] or someone else & say ‘Please explain, please translate’.
“It’s funny for me because sometimes I understand him but sometimes I really don’t understand him.”
The German has 5 goals and 5 assists in 26 EPL appearances for Chelsea after seeing his goal against Liverpool ruled offside on Thursday night.
