Pogba’s rare left-foot strike pays off
The Frenchman once again fired Man United to the league top with a super left-foot strike.
Pogba hardly strikes with his left foot outside the 18-yard as he is generally known to be a right footed player.
The last time he netted a goal with his left foot from outside the 18 was back in 2015 when Juventus trashed out Chievo but the last time he attempted a left foot strike for United was in 2019 but failed to hit his target as United also had won Fulham.
Speaking of his 3rd goal for the league season which had come from his left foot, Pogba said; “I hit it well and did not expect the left foot to be like this. It was a beautiful goal and a beautiful victory.”
“It is a big win because it is a hard game and we knew it was going to be difficult. We needed the win and got it the hard way, ” he added.
Pogba has managed to stay consistent for a quite a time now, unlike in the past and Ole Solskjaer has applauded the World cup winner for his character as he also spoke of how good his is.
“Fantastic goal by Paul [Pogba],” Solskjaer said. “And we had some other chances to finish the game but of course when it is just one goal and the players they put on it is going to be like heart in your mouth.”
“He [Pogba] has really come on. He is fit, he can play in midfield and he can play wide. That is key with Paul, getting him match fit and running fit and he is at the moment. He played very well.”
Ole equaled Sir Alex Ferguson’s history with better stat
The 2-1 victory last night marked Man United’s 17th away unbeaten game under Some Solskjaer’s administration.
The last manager to have done so was Sir Alex Ferguson with his treble winning squad who went through December 1998 to September 1999 unbeaten.
Ole Solskjaer didn’t just equal SAF’s stat but also in a better way as the current spell contained more wins than that of Ferguson’s. [Ole 13 wins / Ferguson 9 wins].
Unlike Ferguson’s which ended with a 5-0 loss to Chelsea, Solskjaer would have the chance to set a new landmark when United visit Emirates Stadium to battle Arsenal during the next weekend.
Super come back Kings

The last time Rashy was at the bench was against West Ham back in December when he came off the bench at the 85th minute to net United’s final goal in the 3-1 victory.
Marcus Rashford prior to the game last night is the only player to feature in every Man United’s game in the current season.
