Tottenham might be leaving Bruno Fernandes deal as they agree terms with Real Betis’ Lo Celso.
According to Mirror, Spurs had been considering Bruno Fernandes and Lo Celso as Christian Eriksen replacement as the Denmark man has refused to extend his contract as he hopes for a future at Santiago Bernabeu.
Lo Celso would be have Tottenham pay an initial sum of £47.5m and afterwards a £7.3m for performance based add-ons as Spurs set to complete a long term deal.
The Argentine joined Real Betis back in August 2018 on a loan deal that later had its buy option triggered by Betis as he joined the club on a permanent deal.
Lo Celso would be joining the likes of Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele and Leeds’ Jacke Clarke in a welcome party if his deal pulls through.
Tottenham set to begin the 2019/2020 season as they look to give another try on the Champions League after losing out on finals to Liverpool but seems Dele Alli won’t be starting the season with Spurs as Pochettino told reporters.
“I don’t believe he’s going to be ready for the start of the season,” said Pochettino.

“I think it’s the same area [as last season]. Of course we are worried. He’s still so young, just 23 years old and there are many, many hamstring problems in the last few years.
“It’s to pay attention a little bit to what is going on in his body, but we are here to try to help him. I think it’s a minor injury – we hope it’s only a few weeks before he can be available again.”
