The Frenchman hasn’t had the best of seasons since his arrival from Arsenal as he possibly could be aiming for the exit door by January.
Olivier Giroud has been so familiar with the bench ever since Frank Lampard took over at Stamford Bridge.
Arriving the club where he stared majorly as a player, Lampard decided to land Tammy Abraham who was out on loan to Aston Villa.
Abraham possessing an awesome scoring skill impressed Frank Lampard alot despite the English man was on the rival side managing Derby County.
Bringing in Abraham only meant one thing for Giroud who actually now got sidelined as speculated.
With less play time to justify his presence, Giroud has been denied opportunities over and over at Stamford Bridge and his last game for France displayed what he could have offered to the Blues Squad so far.
Even his agent had to speak out after the game, stating that his client deserves better than the little to less play time he gets under Lampard.
According to DailyMail, Blues ‘are willing to let Olivier Giroud leave in January as reward for his service at the club’ after French striker admitted he was ‘worried’ about lack of playing time under Frank Lampard.
Suitors are yet to disclose their interest but it’s rumored that Giroud could be heading to Juventus to join former teammates, Alvaro Morata.
